First that Patriots Didn't do anything that other teams have done in the past. thats why they hold a clip board over thier mouths when they call signals. Teams were warned to stop and the pats didn't and they rightfully got fined and I am ashamed that it happened. Did TRYING to steal a few calls make them great? No. It's a far greater advantage to watch game film for a week in preparation for a team, and that's not illegal. Stealing signals is no more than trying to cover every angle and detail, and ALL teams do some variation of it. The patriots got caught. Should they be kicked out of the league? Many on this board would like to think so. Not because it would be just punishment, but because it would give their team a chance to win!

For this awful crime against humanity to work,(signal stealing) they would have to get the signs, verify that the signs give the play away, hear or see the signal call behind the teams clipboard covered face, process this information in about 20 seconds, hope that the team didn't change their play calls from months ago, and hope they don't change the play at the line of scrimmage. Whew! The stars must have aligned! Where would the Patriots be without this exact science! I can tell you where. The same place they are now.
