Wayne Huizenga announced Friday that he is selling 50% of his stake in the Miami Dolphins to New York real estate developer Stephen Ross. Ross would acquire 50 percent of the franchise, Dolphin Stadium and surrounding developable land. The estimated sale is valued at about $550 million :-O and still awaits the NFL's blessing.
Huizenga remaining as General Managing Partner will probably keep the team going as it has, just funny that up until Huizenga sold 50% he was adamant that he wasn't selling any part of the team...LIAR
lol lekpok, but he's been saying this for a while now, other then making a lot of money from this sale there's probably no other reason considering he made out like a bandit on this deal from the time he purchased the Phins to selling 50% of it, I'm sure he's smiling all the way to the bank.
